We strive to provide Shiatsu training courses of the highest standard in an atmosphere that is enjoyable, stimulating and inspiring.

Courses for all

We offer courses at all levels of knowledge starting with three-weekend Foundation Courses for beginners, followed by a one-year course which is the first part of the three-year Practitioner Training. Fully qualified and experienced teachers lead the classes, assisted by graduates of the school.

The Bristol School of Shiatsu training courses are fully ratified and recognized by the Shiatsu Society UK

Our Three Year Professional Practitioner Training programme is a ‘Level 4 Diploma in Shiatsu’ government recognised qualification (RQF), regulated by Ofqual.

Our One year course now carries its own “Holistic Acupressure” qualification and upon completion you can gain certification, get insured and practice as a ‘Well-Being’ practitioner. This means that you can charge for your sessions and use this to help pay for your on-going Shiatsu Practitioner training!

We have just finalised dates for our 3rd year training starting 12/13 September 2026.

Please see all dates under year 3 practitioner training. This will be at the Centre for Whole Health, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 3BP

The course will include a weekend with Suzanne Yates who has many years of experience working with the extraordinary vessels.
